As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Just got some amazing news
My Mom has been getting 'maintenance' treatments to keep her cancer from coming back. Last January she was considered cancer free, but they told her it would probably take less than 6 months to come back. Just a few days ago she had another cat scan done to check her lymph nodes for more cancer, and they found absolutely NOTHING!!
Her doctors are optimistic that although it's not a curable disease, it probably won't come back for at least 10+ years, and that they will be checking her semi-annually so that they can keep up with it, and catch it early again when it comes back.
I couldn't be happier... Mom has been getting chemo treatments for 2.5 years now, and I am so glad she is done!

I lost my mom to cancer 5 1/2 years ago so it's really great to hear success stories!
