Well, last night was pretty low-key and uneventful. My coworker/friend was supposed to come over to help with plumbing in the kitchen, but he had his own plumbing emergency over the weekend, so his house came first. So, Derek played video games and I read all night.
Hopefully tonight plumbing will be accomplished!
Also, I realized this morning that I'm failing BIG TIME at the Project 365 that ringy suggested. I keep forgetting to take pictures! I need to set a reminder.
How is everyone today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Good Morning!
So far so good today. I went to bed late and was up early this morning (unfortunately). I don't work until noon and was looking forward to sleeping in.
I'm going to head off to the gym in a few minutes and I hope that goes well.. I ran yesterday and then did quite a bit of shopping (standing on my feet) and I think I overdid it a bit. My pelvis was sore and I started feeling really achy waiting in line at my last store.
I really hope my work shift will involve sitting all day. MIL is still in the hospital (the one I work at) so I'm going to pop in to see her before the beginning of my shift and give her some trashy magazines to keep her occupied.
Fingers crossed that Winston behaves today while Mark and I are both at work. We had 2 good days in a row but he hasn't been home alone for the past few weeks.
Good morning! Last night was fun--the readings and Q&A by the authors I went to see were pretty interesting. It ran late, though, so I didn't get to have my books signed. Oh well.
Today will be same old, same old at work. I'm going to try to get a run in tonight, then get to bed somewhat early. Josh is coming home tonight, but his flight lands so late that he probably won't walk in the door until 1:30ish.
Hope everyone has a great one!
Last night was a good night we watched th game and Alabame won woo hoo!! I cooked meatloaf in my crockpot and was nervous about it but it turned out wonderful. Easy dinner done when I got home.
Tonight is Jordans's "big" homework night. We always have mroe homework on Tuesday nights so we will be doing that and studying spelling words. Hope to catch up on some shows I dvrd last night because I was watching the game.
Wednesday DH is off and he is going to meat with a NEW loan officer and contractor for the house. I have my fingers crossed that we get all this worked out soon. This house buying is so stressful.
Morning ladies.
My evening was uneventful as well. Same old of getting lunches ready for today, a load of laundry, and normal bedtime routines.
Today is another busy day at work, and DH is working the next 2 nights, boo! It is going to be a long one as Christian decided 3:30 a.m was a great time to have some play/whining time. Ugh, he finally fell back to sleep around 5, but unfortunately it was a DC day so I had to wake him up early. I already apologized to DC as they will have a pretty cranky kid on their hands by 10:00 a.m.
Well off to another busy day. Have a great day ladies.
Morning. Last night was fairly uneventful. I talked to my mom for a bit and thought that we caught up on everything from the weekend. Apparently I was wrong though. My sister called me later and said that she had something that she wanted to tell me but had promised my mom that she wouldn't. I took one guess and figured it out. I guess my mom had a date over the weekend. And the reason why she's not telling any of us is because she knows that none of us will approve of the guy that she went on a date with. The guy is an alcoholic and acts like a real d-bag when he's been drinking (which is every night). We know this because she works with him and had told us for a while now that he was interested in her but she wasn't interested in him. Ugh. I never expected to be dealing with my mom's dating drama.
Hello ladies. DH and I were both stuck at work a bit late yesterday, so we ended up ordering Chinese for dinner and then watching the rest of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I got the box set for Christmas and we're slowly making our way through them.
DH is busy tonight, so I'm on my own. Planning on just having leftovers, and if I get out of here earlier today I'll try to make it to the gym.
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
Morning all. Last night was pretty good. After work, B and I went to visit Casey at the hospital, and the guy was barking his head off. He hasn't barked in over a week because he felt so awful, so it was so great to hear. The surgeon is removing the wound vac today, and he should be coming home tonight. He's definitely ready, and B and I can't wait.
Today should be a normal but busy day at the office, and then tonight my dad and I are going to the Blackhawks game.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Abarb - That's crazy about your mom, I can't imagine dealing with a parents dating drama. Hope everything turns out ok.
Sushi - What do you think of Harry Potter so far?
Last night was actually pretty eventful for us. Jason's friend is staying with us all week and arrived last night. I ordered some pizza's and we all hung out and talked until almost 11:00pm. I also talked to all three of my sister and two of aunts trying to get this coordinated for my mom's 50th surprise birthday party this weekend.
Today should be pretty busy as well. I have Young Professionals Committee meeting this morning, I have to run payroll reports, and I'm meeting an old coworker for lunch. Tonight our mattresses are being delivered, I can't wait!
morning ladies! I was out yesterday with a terrible migraine, so I hid under the covers all day avoiding any light. =/
the party over the weekend went great. everyone bought the whole "we're TTC and doc said no drinking" story. I have to say though... it was really annoying being sober around some of my friends, haha. I hope I'm not as obnoxious as some of them when I drink.
my BFF bought baby Q a little Christmas onesie to wear for his/her first holiday this year, as well as a pregnancy planner for me. very exciting!
nothing else new over here. last night was taco night... always a favorite in our house.

I'm completely dragging tonight. I had to come in early today for a big event, which meant I was here before the sun was up. Unfortunately, no one gave Jackson the memo that I needed to sleep, so I was also up 3 times with him last night. When DH whined at 5 because I begged him to get up and help, I could've socked him in the face.
Tonight will hopefully be heading off to bed early, but I know that won't happen. I tend to still be a night owl, even after a really exhausting day. Thankfully, there's quite a few leftovers in our fridge, so I don't have to worry about what to make for dinner or answering the question DH asks every time he walks in the door. "any idea what you want for dinner?" It's not usually on my radar for the night until I'm starving.
Ps..I was super annoyed that HIMYM and the rest of the lineup was a rerun last night. What the heck?
Good morning, ladies.
Boot camp kicked my butt this morning. But I'm down 2 lbs from last week, so that helps the motivation.
Just work today. Still closing the books for year-end, and getting things ready for the auditors. They arrive Monday and will be here for a month (ugh).
Have a great day, everyone!
Good morning,
Yesterday was grocery shopping day. Our house was pitiful we had nothing in our fridge except some milk and some spinach. So we stocked up on things. I also made a new soup that was fantastic. I was really impressed with how it came out.
I then curled up on the couch and watched Downton Abbey. It's such an addicting show.
LesPaul you are inspiring me to get my but out there. I can feel the weight that I put on over Christmas and I am not happy about it.
Well today is just off to a lovely start.
I went to eye doctor this morning and I need to get bifocals. And now my eyes are all dilated so I'm sitting in my half lit office wearing sunglasses.
My favorite (cheap) parking garage was full, so I had to park in the expensive one.
The phone guys were here this morning to wrap up the final bits of the new system. Of the list of 6 things that needed to be addressed the only on that got fixed was to retrieve their toolbox. Not a happy camper.
On the plus side, since I drove I will be able to stop at the pool on the way home.

Really quick post from work to say hi!
Last night I made a really good, dinner that Sean said to put in the keep pile, which makes me happy. We also went to the gym and Myles did so well! He sat up the whole time and giggled and play with another baby.
Tonight I have to tutor my little cousin, and then it's back to the gym. It's paying off. I'm down 8lbs! Still a ways to go, but it feels good to be making progress.
miss you girls!
Good morning ladies! Last night was pretty quiet for us too. We spent a good portion of the evening playing with Olivia and reflecting over where we were last year and where we are now. We also made tentative plans for a Vegas trip, but it will depend on what happens with DH's benefits at his new job.
Today should be low key. I'm making pasta for dinner and it's DH's first day of training at his new job. I'm sure we'll get to watch some of our DVR shows and just relax.
Hope everyone has a good day!
Hi all! This has been an interesting morning... Darian went for his first nap much later than I expected, so I don't know if he'll get a long enough nap before we go for swimming lessons at 1:45. Hmm. I am excited about the swimming though!
raynes, the only reason I'm still keeping up with the 365 project is because I'm SAH, but I wonder how I'll do once I go back to work in August...

I came out to the other Teacher Leader in my building after our meeting since we were starting to talk about next year. She actually made a really interesting suggestion, since she is thinking about not doing it again next year. The other district TLs have half time teaching/half time TL contracts, but we just teach full time with TL responsibilities on top of it. She suggested that maybe I go to the half and half program and be the only building team leader...and there may even be a teacher who has been on leave that would be able to do my mat leave and then split the rest of the year with me. Interesting idea...now we just need to convince my principal...
