Shamless 1/8/12 *Spoilers*

Did anyone catch the season 2 premiere of Shameless last night? I thought it was great and I'm really looking forward to this season. We watched all of Season 1 on On Demand last summer and really loved the show, and I have been anxiously waiting for season 2 to start. I thought Frank went way overboard making that large bet and then having to leave Liam - I'm glad that guy seemed to like little Liam and didn't do anything to hurt him. I am sad Steve wasn't in the episode, but it'll be interesting to see what kind of guys Fiona is with this season (she is a little bit of a tramp I must say).

  • Omg DH and I LOVE this show!

It kicks ass compared to alot off the shows out right now!

I still can't believe he LEFT Liam with that guy!

Dang, Fiona is man-crazed horny woman! Looks like fun!

  • OMG This show is deliciously rotten - I love it!!!  And William H Macy is amazing in it.  I also really like Joan Cusack in this, as well.

Having a child close to Liam's age, Frank leaving him really struck a nerve in me.  Shocking entertainment is what brings viewers back!  But I love seeing the family rallying and how things work out in the end.

I'm surprised there aren't more comments on this, people really need to watch this series!

Same here.  That part really bugged me, but I also realize why it was there.

my step mother read a recent article where the writer says that William H Macy is "horribly" cast in this role.

WTF?!?!?!  I think he is absolutely PERFECT in this role!!!

  • very excited it's back. i loved the amish girl tending to the pot plants. i do want steve to come back and see what happens with that. i don't think fiona is a tramp. she was with steve, now she is hanging with the new guy. it looks like she plays the field later on, but eh...i don't think this is a bad thing at all.

the older brother is a genius and i love his character.  i'm giving amy smart the side-eye. what is her deal? she seems so shady.  wasn't she married last season and then really latched on to fiona so her husband left? she had a kid too, right?

ETA: and how unfortunate that they had to waste all of the pot? that could have been a cash cow.

I'm assuming something will happen w/ her this season.  She's unsettling....

Oh, and the fact they are running a daycare???  I was LOLing that people were actually entrusting their kids to Fiona and Deb!

Hmm   They must have had something different in mind for that character then and I would think this was a fortunate mistake if that is the case.

Yeah, I don't like this lady/story line at all.  I couldn't put my finger on it but I think 'unsettling' is a good word for it.
