ok, how did we do over the weekend?
Goal #1: eat vegeratian at least once a week. so far so good. Flatbread pizzas were awesome last friday, and have Pad Thai planned for this Friday
Goal #2: workout 3 times each week. Didn't make it last week, only went once. Was kind of sore from not being at the gym in a while. But, I went yesterday, and plan on going again tomorrow.
Goal #3: eat at least 4 servings of veggies at least 6 days a week. I do good on this one during the week, need to improve veggie intake on the weekends. I usually have at least 2 servings of veggies with dinner, but need to work more in at lunch on weekends.
Goal #4: either an after dinner dessert or 1-2 glasses of wine, not both. um, mostly ok. Saturday night we had friends over for dinner, so there was wine consumption and cookie eating. But otherwise I've been doing good with this one. And I've been limiting dessert to 1-2 pieces of dark chocolate, so I'm not blowing too many calories.
Goal #5: portion control - no seconds and controlled snacking. Pretty good. I had a second roll and a second little piece of elk roast Saturday, but otherwise, have been doing good.
Who's next? Fess up!
Re: Weekly Accountability
I went to WW on Sunday and lost 0.6 lbs. w00t!
.... and then I gained it all back by making Oreo awesomeness.
Bad MB. Bad.
ETA:... BUT I am making a point to track EVERYTHING else that I eat this week. Including the Panera I had yesterday for lunch, and the hibachi and scorpion bowls we're having on Friday for Chris.

I have not had a single soda in over a week
I haven't been so great with the fruits, but I have had a salad at least once a day
I haven't worked out yet, but I plan on it after work tonight.
Stand up for something you believe in.
We have yet to do the vegetarian meal, but just because we need to get some groceries. It is on the agenda for this week. (portabello parmesan)
I have yet to start working out. Hangs head. I intended to last night but my stomach was upset. Definitely tonight.
I've been doing great with the veggie intake, but that one is easy.
I haven't had a soda in over a week!
I've been doing decently with portion control. On Friday I was able to stop at two slices of pizza. Yesterday and today I've had dry cereal, a banana, and a piece of cheese for breakfast instead of my usual Sonic burritos or McD's egg mcmuffin.
I worked out 5 times last week.
I only had wine twice (one glass each time) and I only had dessert on Sunday and last night (homemade creme brulee).
I did eat lobster mac and cheese and fried pickles last week though, bad bad bad.
Last night we did really great with portion control. We only ate 1/3 of the casserole I made and froze the rest into two portions. This is normally our weekness.
Andy has a health coach and he has to track his BP, HR, weight, and waist size. I checked my blood pressure and quickly decided to never try that silly business again.
Anything consumed on "period day" doesn't have calories. Didn't you know?
I was all set to start exercising this week, and then I got the cold from heck and haven't left my couch in two days. Oh well. I'm also trying to get myself to stop drinking pop, so I got myself some cherry coke zero. I don't actually like it, but it's there in case I need a majorly desperate fix and at least it's calorie-free.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Can I jump in on this?
No vegetarian meals, yet, but we have had salad 4 times this week (it included either chicken or fresh crabmeat though).
We are horrible at working out. We both are on our feet all day for work and by the end of the day, we want to sit on the floor and do nothing. We both need to get on that so we can keep our metabolism up.
My win for the week is that I've stopped taking completely from the candy bowl at work. At work, they have a bowl filled to the brim with mini-chocolates at all time. It's extremely hard to ignore. I also haven't bought any cookies or candy from the check lanes (Gah, working in retail can make you fat).
I'm taking this one step at a time. I just want to be healthy. I scheduled yearly check ups for both DH and I at the end of the month as motivation to tell us how we're doing. *fingers crossed*
