Are we ignoring it?
Just curious b/c very few people posted (and one is an AE) after TBB was revealed by one fromer Nestie admiting they personally made the AE, but that others used it also.
That was sort of anti-climactic, but I really didn't know. It doesn't change much for me in the grand scheme of life.
However, it's pretty crazy that somebody who might have participated is stirring the pot again is now calling out their friends. TBB was several adult years ago, so IMO coming back now to call-out people speaks more to where that particular person is in their life and friendships than anything about the original TBB.
I have to admit that while I was up from insomnia last night I looked-up the original TBB posts and the original posts had less pages than the follow-up posts trying to figure out who it was and the recent stirring of the pot post. Sort of shows that mentality where you can?t look away from a crash site even if you want to, doesn?t it?

Let me put it this way: if I were in the same room with TBB(s) who haven't owned up and apologized, I would pretty much give my best:
Whoever they are, they are surely miserable wallowing (whether beknownst to them or not) in their lack of humanity, maturity and mental health.
In short, sucks even worse to be them. Done and done, move along now, pay no attention to the poor excuse for humanity trying to catch your attention from the side of the road.

I didn't even know she came back to that thread, so thanks for the update. I think you're onto something with the crash site analogy.
I am not surprised by her owning up to that. Not one little bit. I'd sure like to know who else was posting as TBB, though, not because I want to crucify them, but because I suspect they're people I actually like and something like that is something I'd like to know.

I applaud K8 for apologizing. I still thing the whole TBB thing was douchey, but at least she owned up. I think much more of her than I do of the rest as a whole, simply because she owned up.

Yeah, it was pretty anticlimactic, but k8 seems remorseful and honest. I think talking through our issues allows for processing our closure. [Maybe I should have been a counselor.]

I wasn't ignoring it. I was just busy.
I know most people have said they're over it, who cares, etc.. But, I can't say I'm there 100%. The TBB AE personally attacked me and said some pretty hurtful things. They knew things that were not part of the board discussion and involved non-Nesties. These were people who I trusted, who knew very personal things, who saw personal financial information, potential business partners, etc.. It wasn't random internet bullying to me. It was targeted, mean and personal. I appreciate knowing that one person feels remorse. I would like to know who wrote as the TBB in the posts to me. I would like to talk to them about it, clear the air and move on. I'm not a fan of ignoring behavior like that or the acceptance of treating people so meanly just because time has passed.
Do people make mistakes? Of course. Is what they did forgivable? Yes, I think so if they show remorse, and believe that the responses that K8's post received shows as much.
