  • Check post below re: babyjogger.  Though they are $$  they are $$ for a reason.

Otherwise Graco and Chicco both make decent ones also.

  • I have spent the last month and all day today in baby stores researching and "driving" double strollers.  I have to say, for a multitude of reasons, that I have decided to go with the baby jogger select.

It is going to be pricey but it will be well worth it.  It is sturdy and extremely light weight for a double.  Handles perfectly and does not feel like driving a bus like when I tried out the chicco, graco and peg perego.

It is definitely worth taking a trip to see it and try it out.

ETA: When the 2+ year old grows out of the stroller in a few years, this stroller easily converts to a single and you can purchase one of those little scooter things that attaches to the back for him/her to stand on.

  • I have the Chicco double and the Baby Trend sit n stand.  I use the sit n stand more often b/c it's lighter and smaller. Sam is not one to be strapped into a stroller for too long and prefers more independace w/the sit n stand.
