Re: St Thomas
I love St. Thomas. We've gone 3 years in a row and we also got married there! It's a beautiful place.
When we go, we tend to spend a lot of time at the beach, kayaking, snorkeling, laying out, etc.
We also always charter a boat to the BVIs.
Now I want to go back!!!!!
St JohnS is in Antigua. St John (no S) is in the US Virgin Islands. Just a pet peeve of mine.
Anyway, would take a trip over to St John for a day. Also charter a boat and go to the BVI's. Snorkel, check out Lindquest Beach, get milk shakes at Utter Delight, sunsets at Paradise Point.
Food: Virgilio's, Old Stone Farm House, Shipwreck, Havana Blue, XO, Oceana, Fish Tail, Cellar, Coco Blue. There are a few new restaurants in the Red Hook area I have not tried yet.
Definitely go out on a boat trip--the baths on Virgin Gorda are a great place to visit. We also snorkeled around a really cool ship wreck near there.
And go to St.John--it is a short ferry ride over from St.Thomas. You could rent a jeep and drive around for the day--so many gorgeous beaches. Have burgers at Skinnys and go for a drink at Caneel Bay.
