Monday is an all day internship orientation meeting and then Tuesday I start my final internship! I am very excited but a little nervous at the same time. I was starting to think I would never get to this point! haha I will be in a kindergarten which is what I wanted! I have not meet my teacher yet but she seems very nice and supportive though our emails. This is the final step before graduation and I am so ready for this experience!

I'm not sure if you are required to make a portfolio, but my first 2 teaching jobs when I went to interviews, I brought a binder filled with student work, lesson plans, and photos from my internship and it really impressed the principals. So save the best work, take photos of group activities, and have a great time.
I really don't know how people start teaching without doing an internship first. You learn so much and get such awesome experience.
