AW and some Ballard bar reqs needed

I should probably win the Wife of the Year award. I've just finalized H's 30th bday.

I found a company that does mobile laser tag parties, so we're going to do that in Ballard for a few hours then go to a bar for drinks after. I'm trying to fly in H's BFF for the party too. And, the part that I'm most excited about is cake. I just emailed the person who did our groom's cake and she's going to make him a fancy schmancy cake (but I have to admit I think this part is more for me bc I love cake more than he does.)

Anyway, enough of my AW and on to my question.

Can you help me brainstorm ideas for bars in Ballard (preferable around Market or not too far from there) that can hold about 35 people? Since we have so many people coming I'd like to make reservations for a space so we aren't too squished.

Not Bal Mar, something way more casual and low key, something more like Kings.

Now, for the hard part... I need to keep my mouth shut and keep this surprise a surprise.

Dreamwinds beat me - I was just coming in to say the Loft.

Depending on time of year - the Shelter Lounge might be able to host you under their covered patio.

Old Town Alehouse might work with you for the bigger space in the back.

I can't think of many Ballard bars that have a lot of space.

I was going to say Bel Mar or the loft. Could you tell me about mobile laser tag though?!?

I have no idea if they do it and their website doesn't say, so it would require a phone call, but I think The Copper Gate would be cool if you could just rent the whole place. They aren't that big, so your 35 would probably fill it pretty well.
