We were thinking of going up there for a weekend and was looking to see if anyone had any recs for a nice hotel or bed & breakfast. TIA!

The Best Western Cavalier.
Don't be scared that it is a Best Western.
It is the best Best Western ever. There are wood-burning fireplaces in every room, as well as a giant basket of good amenities.
It is super close to Hearst Castle and the elephant seals.
