Another newbie :)
I am ALSO moving to Maine but not until this summer 
I accepted a position that won't start until August but until then DH and I will be obsessively discussing at length all things Maine. We will be looking at the Portland area to live and have heard great things.
The cloth diapering board on the bump was my primary home until we migrated to FB. I am hoping to keep up with you all and at least lurk a little until we make the actual move.
So excited, just had to introduce myself!

Welcome to Maine! Don't feel like you just have to lurk until you move here. You are more than welcome to join in the fun whenever, even if you dont live here yet!
Welcome! As PPs said, there are tons of CD-ers on here and lots of great advice. Portland is a fantastic town, have fun planning your big move and be sure to ask any questions you might have, it's a very helpful bunch on here!

Yay! So many CDing Maine mamas! We are moving from Charlotte, NC where I have been living for about two and a half years while I finish my degree. Originally though, I am from PA where I grew up.
I am definitely crashing the board with all my questions-glad to see there are others from the Portland area. I would love to meet up when I get there...you know, in seven months
