How did your appointment go? How are your boobies?
Re: **HallowsEve**
Thanks for asking! It was one hell of an appointment!
I went in, told them what was up and of course they wanted to rule out pregnancy first. Fine by me. Imagine my shock when it came back positive! I literally burst into tears, freaking out, and I'm usually really calm dealing with stress.
So they booked an ultrasound for me right away and... there was nothing. Nothing at all. Just a beautiful barren uterus. So they checked their system and apparently one of the new nurses got my test switched with someone else's - she came in and apologized, which was nice. But holy hell.
So that behind us, they did a breast exam, and I have cysts which are normal, but they're inflamed and irritated from some kind of infection. Figures. They gave me some antibiotics and said it should clear up in a week or two.

Holy hell is right!!!! Phew! Glad it's not b/c your pg tho! I would have freakedddd out when they came back and told me it was a mistake, simply b/c I probably would have had the same reaction as you or worse....
Cysts much seem like a HUGE relief compared to pregnancy. haha. Hope it heals soon for you!
Well, what a scare! LOL That's too bad that the new assistant couldn't keep her tests straight...
Anyway, glad it's just an infection and the antibiotics will help. Hope you feel better soon!

Yeah, they did, and it was negative, too.
Hooolllyyyyyyyy shiiiiit. I would have completely flipped out. Possibly twice.
I'm glad it ended up being good news (and yay for the ultrasound -- nothing quite like SEEING in there!), and I hope the antibiotics get things cleared up for you right quick!
Had this been me, they would have had bigger issues at hand, like getting my passed out assss off the floor after giving me that info.
I'm glad it's treatable and you saw a doc.
