congrats on being fbook official!! that's a huge step, and what a relief huh!
i just wanted to share a pet peeve of mine.....when people announce their pregnancies on fbook, and their friends say "oh i'm so glad i can finally talk about it now!".....it's like these friends need to rub it into their other friends faces that they knew first. your mom, obv, is excused, but other people 
either way, yay! congrats to you, i'm so happy for you!

i'm not super close with my dad either, even though he and my mom are still together, also. my dad still hasn't gotten sappy with me...although he has now lectured me twice about not using drugs.......because i have *such* a drug problem!!!

unfortunately, he's not saying it to get e worked up! he is serious, and thinks i don't know to not use drugs, let alone while pregnant. my parents have never ever had "the talk" with me about drugs, alcohol, or sex. i had to learn all of that on my own. my dad is truly being genuine when he is telling me to not take drugs right now...
and my mom had the sex talk with me december 2010 when i *still* wasn't pregnant...she told me about how women ovulate approx every 28 days and if i wanted to get pregnant, i would have to time out sex... (insert eye roll here).
*sigh* i wish my dad would be all emotional about the baby-- he always looks at me with disappointment and says "you're having a girl"....because he supposedly can tell. he tells me i'm letting down my father in law and can't stop having kids until i have a boy. and that he wishes i was having a boy so he could be proud of me and not be an embarassment for fil.
okay end vent!!! this post was suppposed to be a happy one about you and your baby!!! so yay!
