happy tuesday! 3 more wakeups till the weekend!

i'll still be MIA most the day, since i got called into this week-long workshop yesterday (guess my boss saw i was doing nothing, haha!). so just minor posting today from my phone and/or during lunch.

i had a wonderful appt yesterday... i always go into every appt with a big long list of questions...so she said next appt (2 weeks) she'll give me another u/s even though we aren't supposed to have one!! i think getting an u/s is more of a way to get me to shut up, but oh well

Good morning!

I'm up because I had to help DH get M out the door this morning. I don't start work until 9 today, so he got to take M to the nanny by himself. Now the house is empty, and I'm awake, and I have two hours until I have to be ready.

WHAT WILL I DO WITH MYSELF?!

That sounded dirty, but I didn't mean it to be, haha.

I think I'll have some coffee, and play some Lego Harry Potter 5-7, and then take a nice, long shower. Mmmmm.

Sad part? I don't get off until 7 tonight. UGH. But that'll give DH and M some bonding time.

Good morning! Last night was pretty good and so I'm feeling a bit less grumpy.

I've got my first class of the quarter today and I'm always glad when the first one is over. I also have a meeting with a colleague to review some software so I hope it will be a good day.

Yesterday was crazy busy but it ended up being a good day. I'm hoping today goes by quick. I have spin class after work, then coffee with the college girls I'm mentoring. I'm dragging a bit this morning, but I have a lot to get done.

Good Morning!

Today I have my Dr. appointment/check-up first thing this morning. After I get back I plan to start cleaning out my kitchen cupboards, since I'm part of a 52 week cleaning/organizing challenge and need to get it done. Tonight we go to our birthing class at the hospital, for the first time. So a busy day!

SDOT apparently thought 11:30pm was a good time to semi-fix the crater/pothole in front of our house..you know the same one that's been there for 2 + years and could be done at any DECENT hour.

Good morning! Another shipment day, so the later part of today I will be busy. Not much else is going on, I don't work Thursday this week so DH and I will have two says off together! Yay!

I left my apple at home. ._. Now I feel like I am hungrier than I actually I am.

D drove me nuts this morning. Any time I try to get him to function more than staring blankly in the morning ends poorly and today I had him drive us to our park and ride and despite the fact we've been doing this for 1.5 weeks, it just goes to show you how much he pays attention (or is awake in the passenger's seat) cause he had no idea where to go and I had to repeat all my instructions 4 times cause he couldn't comprehend that when I said, take the soft left, I meant take the soft left and not go straight. >.<

Then instead of picking a parking spot under cover (there were a lot of them), he picks the one furthest away from any kind of overhead coverage. Why do guys do this?

So today is going to be one of those days I think.

Last night was a lazy night for DH and I. He played Skyrim, and I read a book (2nd book in the Hunger Games trilogy). We were purposely NOT watching the National "Championship," in a kind of protest of the lame BCS. From what I've heard the 21-0 shut out was a boring game, which was exactly what I expected from two lame SEC teams (can you sense the Pac-12 bias I have? Wink

)

Johlise - we're doing the 52 week challenge as well, but haven't started on the cupboards.

Love my cousin, but lately I find myself irked at her...the whole difficulty of a roomie who isn't my husband. I found out she ruined two towels with makeup stains - mascara and what not. I wouldn't have thought I was as fond of those towels, but really they've been in my family for at least 30 years and were still in good condition and I know people who COLLECT that vintage style of towel. I liked the pink one with the shells on it. Then this morning, she was taking a shower during MY shower time so I had no water pressure. H and I have a routine: he takes his first, me second and we take them between 7:15 and 7:40. She doesn't have a consistent schedule yet since she won't be done working retail until the end of the month...so sometimes I find her in the shower downstairs during my shower time and it makes me cranky that it's so hard to get shampoo out of my hair! X( BUT, she's so sensitive about things and I'm at "that time" so I'm cranky.

I think we're still banned from most interesting Internet activities today (FB, anything that streams, any games) so it's going to boooorrrrriiiing. Work doesn't keep me THAT occupied during 8 hours. I love reading but like to do that in the evening as a rest from electronics and doing it during the day is burning me out a little (plus, I hate being interrupted).

So I woke up this morning with a horrible gas bubble in my esophagus. My hubz was looking at me funny while I was describing it and I reassured him it wasn't a heart attack. I googled it just for safe measure and it turns out this is common for a lot of people. It's just a bubble, that causes massive pain! So I laid on my back with my feet up and got myself to burp a couple times, it seems to have abated a little bit, but still around. Grrr! I hate new health issues. I am a huge klutz so I always roll an ankle, or bang my knees, etc. But inner health issues i've never had so it always creeps me out.

Oh well! Talk to my doc about it. Have a great day!
