so i was in Vegas last week visiting my sister. On Tuesday evening we were at Walmart (she lives off-strip, northwest) and we were near the checkout lines when my sister suddenly whips the cart around and says "SISTER WIFE!". haha she's mildly obsessed with reality tv so she recognized two of the daughters and then one of the sister wives in the check-out lane. so, like any normal stalker would, we pulled our cart right in behind them. it was the one that had the baby last season (Truly) and two girls, mckelty and one that looked just like her.
i am shameless. i chatted it up wiht the kids and waved/played with the toddler. i couldn't help but think how normal they seemed. i was so tempted to hop in our car and follow them home...but you have to draw the line somewhere, right? haha. oh, and after standing in line for like 15 mins, we realized it was the speedy checkout line and we had like 56 things in our cart, so we had to move down to a normal checkout. yep...awesome.
these are the kinds of celeb sightings i get. haha.
Re: In case you didn't see my FB post
Nice!
City, who did you see in the subway?
Didn't happen unless you tell us who. Don't leave us hanging!
Vincent Donofrio on the R train to Brooklyn. I was with my BFF, and he was sitting accross from us pretending to read a paper with a baseball cap pulled down and was cursing about the state of the tracks. Aparently his smirk from The Cell is his normal face.
Most of the time they really are just "there" and I pay them no mind. But when someone makes your toes curl, your heart gets all butterflyish and you wish you could just throw yourself on them. It's also weird as hell when they're in your restaurant/bar and you have to treat them like everyone else. (Bill Murray was the awesomest!)
I could never live in New York! I'd be staring at them all in awe!
Bucks - I'm glad the Sister Wives people seemed nice. I really like them for some reason so it's good to hear they're friendly.
