DD's kindergarten information session is this week at 6:30 pm. I hired a sitter to watch the kids while I went. DH and I have already attended the open house which gave us a chance to meet the principal and asst principal and tour the school. The information session is more about meeting the kindergarten teachers, hearing about the curriculum and getting questions answered. There is no other information session being held until kindergarten orientation in the summer.
When I reminded DH of the information night, he told me he couldn't make it -- it was the first night of volleyball.
Volleyball starts at 6 so it's not like he could attend any of it.
Whatever, it is his choice but one that would never strike me to make (volleyball over kindergarten information night). I could understand if it was the playoffs or he couldn't call in and get a sub for himself. But it's the first game and he could easily have someone else play. Just strikes me as an odd choice. Thoughts?

Re: What would you think?
If it were me, I'd be pissed. Yes it's just kindergarten info night, but he should be informed too. My DH retains info better if he were there than if I had told him what went on. BUT- your DH may not be like that.
yeah, that is the only thing that bothers me. I swear if I am relaying the info, it's like Charlie Brown's teacher talking to him. He knows I'm going with him or without him and I just think he underestimates what he is going to hear.
