Kinda scary
On normal days I really love my job (something new everyday, rather intense but lots of fun)...today is a bit different. We are currently on "lock down" in my building and have police posted outside our office b/c apparently a former client (very mentally ill) with a SUPER violent past has made direct threats to harm staff member(s) and told one of our staff that he was "on his way over". UGH, I hate feeling like this. Looks like the cops will be walking us to our cars tonight as we leave the building.

Days like this make me consider switching to something like that, but I know that I'd miss the day to day action if I switched right now. I guess this is just something that comes along with the job, but it makes me nervous.
I can't/won't tell DH what's happening because he'd FREAK! I used to do evals at the local jail/detention ctr and he was always freaked out & wanted me to call before I walked into the jail & once I walked out.
No more baby siggie pics. Boo.
