It was a bittersweet day for me today, thinking about moving home in a few months, but realising I am going to miss this place (which I wouldn't have beleived a year ago).
Check out my latest post (blog link below).
Those of you who moved back home (either way) what did you regret, miss or wish you would have appreciated more? Anything that helped in the transition?

Well that was a crazy couple of years.
I just moved back to the US a couple weeks ago. I will always miss Leeds and the people we met there. We loved it so much. I'll definitely miss the short and cheap plane rides to nearby amazing places. I never thought I'd miss it there, either. I will forever, though.
It makes me sad just thinking about it!
I'm not really sure how to help the transition. We had several favorite restaurants so we made sure to go to those places before we left. We also stocked up on our favorite chocolates. H had to go back to finish up some stuff at work and at our house so I'm going to get him to get even more.
We've been back in Seattle for two months now. DH and I tried to make the most of of our time in England and we don't have many regrets but we both miss things from Chester. We made some great friends while we were there so we miss them as well. Luckily for us one of DH's co-workers that we got close too is coming to the US for 2 months in March.
We knew we would be a bit sad about moving back so we have made sure to be super social. We wanted to catch up with our friends anyways but we were really social in England and we are trying to keep that lifestyle going now that we are back. DH has to go back to England for work in April so I'm going to have him bring a few food items back that I'm been craving/missing.
