Yay Wednesday!
Last night was kinda crappy. I was stuck at work waiting for one of the car pool guys for nearly an extra hour. We'd usually be home by then. Then when I got home the kitchen was (still) a giant mess and someone was just sitting playing video games. So, I cleaned the kitchen, made dinner, then cleaned it again. By that point it was 8:30 my back was killing me and I just wanted to put my feet up. So, I did!
Hopefully tonight can be productive.
How is everyone today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Happy Hump Day!
YAY halfway thru the work week.
Yesterday I got really busy towards the end of the day so I worked super hard to get it all done before time to go home. I cooked an easy dinner like always, but Preston was more than cranky. So I didn't get much else done. Jordan and I studied spelling words and read his story in his book and tonight is homework free for us.
Dh is off work today and going to meet with another contractor and the listing agent and our realtor at the house at 10. I have my fingers crossed for good news. SInce he is off work cooking is up to him. Although I don't hold my breath I don't know what he thinks. We at 6pm every night on the occasion we go out it might be 6:30 but preston is not making it past 6. When it it his turn to cook dinner he will start cooking and preparing at 5:45....the kids normally end up with a grilled cheese and I end up mad. I gave him a prep speach last night so hopefully it will go good.
Since dinner is his problem I am hoping to go for a walk/run this afternoon after work.
Morning. Kyle and I have both been feeling a little off lately so we took it easy last night. We watched an awesome college basketball game and ate leftovers. I tried to get in a workout but started feeling terrible midway though so I stopped early.
Tonight will probably be more of the same. Neither of us have plans so it will probably be a quiet night. We have plans Thursday night so I'm hoping to be rested up prior to that.
Morning ladies.
So glad we are halfway through the work week! I am leaving a little early today to bring Zach to the doctors to make sure his ear infection is completely gone. I think it is as he has been acting way more like himself, and only has a cough now. YAY!
Once we get home, it will be dinner, baths, and bedtime. Then I will need to pick everything up and get ready for DC tomorrow. Is it crazy that I'm a little nervous. We are supposed to get a storm, and it will be my first time driving in the snow with my van tomorrow morning, and of course it is a day I have to have the boys with me. Ugh...praying the van goes good in the snow. Granted it does have AWD, but I am still nervous.
Anyhow, have a great day!
Good morning, ladies.
Cold and snowy today - high is only going to be 28* F. Tonight is a post-op follow-up vet appt for our dog (she had knee surgery 6 weeks ago).
Not much going on - just work and the usual life maintenance.
Have a great day, everyone!
Happy Wednesday! Today is a short work day for me. We have tickets to the matinee performance of Billy Elliott. We don't usually get mantinees, so this is kind of a fun treat. I had intended to get to work early today so I didn't need to use as much leave but that did not happen.
Last night, I went to the pool on the way home for a swim. The swim was great, but I had to share a lane for half of my swim. The rec center was super crowded with all the New Year's resolution people. I shouldn't complain too much, since I guess I am one of them.
Nothing else planned for this evening. I may ride the bike if my foot will cooperate.

Happy Wednesday.
Yesterday was low key. DH is sick and a I didn't feel well at all. So I heated up some left overs, made lunch and chilled out. I ended up falling asleep on the couch at 830. I never do that.
Dh is home sick today so I hope he feels a bit better when I get home. We have reservations and a gift card to a restaurant we love and it expires today.
I hope we get to use it.
I loved Billy Elliot! The number at the end of the 1st act is amazing.
It's just another work day today. Everyone seems to be running on empty, which sucks. I just want to go back to bed! I'm on a huge berry bender right now though, so I'm going to stop off at the shop before getting home and passing out.

reba - we just saw Billy Elliott a few weeks ago and loved it. Have fun!
We had to deal with a leaky ceiling in our kitchen last night, but hopefully the mgmt company has taken care of that today so we don't have any issues. Otherwise, not too much exciting going on with me today.

Good morning! I just got into work--I had a dentist appointment. It turns out my hygienist is from MI, too, so we ended up chatting a lot. A pleasant time at the dentist, who'd've thought?
I left work late last night, but still managed to force myself to get to the gym. After that, I did some work on the review website, then read for a while. I fell asleep, but Josh woke me up at around 12:30 when he came home. We chatted for a little bit before I conked out again.
Tonight I'm meeting a friend who's visiting town for dinner.
Have a great one, ladies.
Good morning. Last night our new bed was delivered and it is heavenly! Jason and his friend moved our old bed into the guest room and set up our new bed, and I didn't have to lift a finger which was nice. Oh, other than making up both of the beds. After that I watched some tv and read Us Weekly on my Nook.
It's cold and snowy here today so I'm not very motivated to anything. I think I'll make the boys a nice dinner tonight since I made them eat take out the past two days, then I'm going to put my feet up and relax.
Good morning ladies. I'm up and going early this morning. H slept a little better last night so I'm trying to work on my online class while she's napping. I'm nervous to go back to work in a few weeks. It will be interesting to learn to balance being a mom, work and school. I can do this though, that's what I have to keep telling myself.
Last night we had to go and help my Grandpa take his Christmas tree down. After my Grandma passed away we went down and did a pink/breast cancer tree for him. It was his first Christmas without her so we wanted to do something special. I love taking H to see him, he's so in love with her. I really cherish those moments since it's her great grandpa. (Awww, so cheesy!)
Tonight I have class so H and Jason are on their own. I hate leaving but I'm glad he gets that time with her.
Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Good morning!
We had a low key night since DH was OOT the night before and driving all day yesterday.
Tonight is an easy dinner and off to bed early. I have to work all day tomorrow then have my job interview tomorrow evening!
I worked almost 12 hours yesterday, completely on my feet. It's been a while since I had to do that. I got home and fell asleep while nursing the baby. oops! We had a quick dinner while I caught up on Rachael v. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off. I love me some FoodNetwork! After that, some impromptu, much needed yoga time, and then I passed out. Thankfully, Jackson only woke up twice last night, and one of them was right when we were going to bed. Magically, DH never hears it, though. He thought he had slept through the night finally. Ummm no.
Tonight I might finally get to watch one of my Netflix DVDs. Otherwise, just lounging and dinner. I'm hoping to get to the fabric store this week since I have a coupon. I'm going to try and make bumpers for Jackson's crib and also curtains for the dining room are a must. It's starting to get cold and it's a big sliding glass door letting the heat out and cold in. Bleh.
Good morning ladies! Last night was pretty low key. DH made pasta for dinner, I did a load of laundry and Olivia STTN. I feel so rested today even though I woke up early. Hopefully we'll all be sleeping thru the night again on a regular basis.
I have a busy day of interviews and meetings at work today. Dinner will probably be left over pasta with salad or pizza because I forgot to take something out of the freezer. Hopefully I can also do some reading so I can start a new book soon.
