Re: 100 Foods to Try Before You Die
I've had 43 which I think is pretty good considering I'm not usually overly adventurous when it comes to food.
20? Really? That seems low based on the fact that there are things like s'mores and root beer floats on there
ETA: doing a list like Mallory since I'm convinced I've forgotten how to count

So, 37.
38 if you include Philly Cheesesteak, I didn't include it because I'm assuming they mean actually FROM Philly....and I have not made my way to Geno's just yet.
ETA: Added an * by the foods for which I didn't care much.

I'm at 55, probably for much of the same reason as DD.
I talk about Frito Pie all the same and Stees is always like ewwwww! And I'm like NO IT'S AWESOME.
91- and I have tried Oxtail but not Oxtail Soup.
I'm going to attribute the range of the list to growing up in a southern family in the Midwest, a penchant for international food, and living on both the East and West coasts for 3+ years each.
Stand up for something you believe in.
89 + Oxtail, but not oxtail soup
A lot of the ones I haven't tried are Indian or Asian food, which for some reason we don't eat a whole lot of.
Stand up for something you believe in.
I would beg to differ.
Also, I saw on MM yesterday that Hostess has filed Chapter 11.
I did this on FB, I think I was at like 60 something. I was actually surprised it wasn't higher, but I had a fairly un-adventurous husband who never wants to try things like Indian food.
I think some of these things really have no business on a list like this. weird.
Yeah, I saw that. All the more reason to run out now and buy a fruit pie to check it off your list!!!
Stand up for something you believe in.
64 here. I was out on things that contain honey (baklava and honey comb) and I've also never had a fish taco because it skeeves me out.
ETA: In Jamaica they had oxtail prepared in a bunch of ways, including Stew which we had. I enjoyed it.
