I'm really frustrated (school related)
So College Research Paper is a pre-req for the nursing program. I took Technical Writing the first time around. It's the same class. Same syllabus, same result, same everything. It has a theme that I'm not interested in writing about and it's a class full of teenagers that I'm at least 10 years older than. I keep getting mixed answers from my adviser. First, she said technical writing was fine. Then all of a sudden she's recommending I take research paper. I don't want to spend the money or the time on a class I've already taken and gotten an A in. So I e-mailed my adviser one more time hoping that I can drop it before class tomorrow. I.just.don't.want.to. I obviously will if I absolutely have to, but it's such a waste of money and time. I don't know what's going on with me this week, but my attitude is bad and the thought of giving up has crossed my mind more than once. Probably has something to do with feeling terrible and realizing that my 4.0 in pre-reqs and 3.6 cumulative GPA still may not be enough to get me in. When I mentioned this to DH last time, he freaked out so I can't talk to him about this stuff, which sucks out load too.
