I had 3 years finished before I moved to Switzerland to join DH. So I transferred to a school near where we live in Chicago now. I'm studying to be an elementary school teaching. This first semester is really important to try and knock out the last few classes of my general education classes and prerequisites. So that I can apply to the Division of education and take the basic skills test. But I still need to get the Early Ed classes I took at my old school to transfer and if not add them to my schedule this year. Such a stressful way to spend the last few days before class.

Re: sushisamba
Ugh, what a hassle with the classes. I know other friends that just had nightmare times trying to transfer credits, so I hope that it all works out for you.
Thanks for the info. My parents are both teachers, and I have so much respect for people going into education. I hope everything goes smoothly and you can quickly get back into the swing of things with classes!

Thank!. Yeah I have to hassle about a few more once the semester starts. But the one I'm trying to figure out at the moment could affect how long it takes me to finish.
And I'm still dealing with Financial Aide.
