Confession: I get why celebs go to rehab so often now...
It sounds awesome.
H's friend has called a few times and sent some letters. It, honestly, sounds like some amazing summer camp.
They're in some secluded area of Washington that I've never heard of (Ollala?) and he says the grounds are beautiful. They have a yoga instructor that comes every day for yoga. You get to just unload all of your problems at therapy (group and one on one.) There's no sugar, caffeine or TV allowed during the stay. The food is decent (he describes it as healthy dorm food) and everything's taken care of for you. All you have to do is work on making yourself a better person.
I would like to go to rehab.
Re: Confession: I get why celebs go to rehab so often now...
I'm sure if you grab a copy of Spa Finder magazine you can find a place that's got all of that, except maybe the therapy sessions.
EDIT: You know, now that I'm talking about it this sounds like a really good idea now...
1st year anniversary in Victoria with a killer whale topiary!
Olalla is directly beside Gig Harbor.... It wouldn't call it a secluded area....but if you are relating it to Seattle, then you may be able to argue that.
Our wedding was in Olalla. It can definitely be beautiful (At least we thought so..)
ETA: If you want to go on a vacation/weekend getaway to a "secluded" part of WA (Olalla), HERE is a link to the guest houses at the place where we got married. We stayed in them the night before the wedding and they are seriously amazing....beds/sheets sooo comfy! It really is like a little getaway.....and cheaper than rehab.

jumped ship to the new and improved nest. back to TB for baby boards.
I was in-patient for treatment of an eating disorder and while it wasn't as spa-like as that, it was pretty sucky. Dealing with the emotions all the time is super tiring and horrible. Of course, what you've described doesn't seem as focused as what my experience was.
So glad he's getting treatment!!
I took a course out in Poulsbo a few summers ago and the drive there and home was always really pretty.
Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
