We will be leaving from Vancouver for an Alaskan cruise. We leave on a Tuesday but plan to fly into Seattle first and stay for 2 days then drive to Vancouver for another 2 days. I have plans for Seattle but have no idea what to do and see in Vancouver. Any suggestions?
Re: Vancouver for 2 days
Granville Island - great shopping and amazing food at the Public Market
Stanley Park - bike, hike, picnic, the totems, the aquarium
Ferry around False Creek
Shopping on Robson or in Kitsilano
Suspension Bridge (Capilano is the big attraction, we usually go to Lynn Canyon)
Stanley park/aquarium.
Food. Lots and lots of food. Seriously, that was what we did there. Sure, we walked through chinatown and did a couple other touristy things, but the food was the real highlight.

*This. We went there this summer and did all of these things. I also liked going to the top of the observation tower to get a view of the city. It's goooorgeous! If there are any shows going on at the 5th Street Theater the night you'll be there, go shortly before the show and see if they have any discounted tickets. We got tickets to Disney's Alladin for $20.00 each!! We had looked it up before we left and the cheapest seats were over $80.00 online and we wound up in the 12th row!
