Our vacuum died and I need a new one ASAP! We have two animals so those with fantastic pet hair suction would be ideal. Any suggestions?

bio
If a dyson isn't in your budget, I love my shark (it's the anti allergen variety). Can't say enough good things about it and it was less than $150.
After being very scared off by Dyson prices I actually just ordered a Shark! Our vacuuming dying was kind of unplanned of course, right at the beginning of our spending freeze! So I think the Shark will be good for now.
Mine has a seven year warranty, if I decide at some point that it doesnt work, I can just take it back to bb&b. They have a great return policy.
