Colorado Nesties
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

So - it's been a LONG time since I've posted on the nest (or even lurked) and I don't know you from Adam or vice versa, but I happened to be poking around the book board today and then stopped by my old stomping grounds and saw your post.

I do shopping center marketing and your DH's background and job search sparked a thought that maybe you've looked into - maybe not. But thought I would share anyway.

All of our center security is done through a 3rd party security company called Securitas. They do shopping centers and tons of other public properties around the area. If you apply with them, then they place you (not you - DH obv...) where they need someone. I have no idea what they pay, but it was just a thought and could be something to do in the meantime while he looks for something else that pays better/is more stable.

Anyway - my best to you and yours and I hope things turn around for you soon.

  • Thank you! I appreciate the good thoughts. He's applied for a couple of positions with Securitas, but I will remind him to keep checking :).
