Coachella

I did not bathe the entire time I was there.
I smelled a lot. Like, a lot a lot. That bandana was burned afterward.
the other night derek was freaking out about the friday lineup (particularly for Pulp, the Black Keys, and Death Grips-kind of all over the place, no?) but was having a hard time reconciling with saturday having Radiohead and sunday having at the drive in.
i saw snoop a few years ago!
That place is going to be one giant smoke ball during that show.
The key to Coachella is getting one of the few hotel rooms nearby. It makes it so much nicer.
I want to see the Head and the Heart! And Dawes! Though a festival without the Avetts isn't worth going to for me. I love them almost as much as my children.
We went back in 2004 and I also did not bathe for the entire event. And it was frickin' hot and we were gross.

Yeah, I don't understand that statement at all. We were waking up insanely early because the tents were already so hot and we couldn't stand it. We even saw someone's windshield crack from the heat as we were walking by it.

I've heard of a grand total of 6 of those acts.
::shakes stick:: Kids today and their crazy music.
I used to plan my summers around music festivals.
Now the thought of going to one makes me want to stab my eyeballs out.
Oh how I would love to see, like 10 of those performers. But with so many, I feel like I would just wander around in a confused daze, end up settling on whatever stage I could get closer to, and then missing anybody I wanted to see in the first place.
