Today sucks...
The poor Parkster has pneumonia and an ear infection. It is also my brother's birthday. He would of been 29 today. I hate days like this...
On the plus side, it is Naismith's birthday too! He is 5! We are celebrating with ice cream later!

I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you today. From one sibling to another, I totally understand where you are coming from. Today completely sucks more than any other day. Hang in there and remember the good. That's the only way they would want it to be. Hugs sweetie.

Thanks everyone! Naismith had a great birthday! He got a bone in the morning and an ice cream cone for dessert, plus we didn't kick him off the bed at all last night.
Poor Parker slept for 13 hours last night. He woke up at 8:30 this morning and my mom (who is with him today) said he went back to sleep at 9:30. I'm hoping this means that it is working it's way out of his system. We have another follow-up appointment tomorrow morning and hopefully he will be cleared to go back to daycare because I don't have much sick time left to take and I have a full day of meetings tomorrow.
