Megan & Katie (and others MSWs)
I'm 99% onboard with accepting being a supervisor next year for an MSW student. I've been able to get away without supervising for a few years now but I was basically pressured into it (and I do agree I need to push myself to do this next step).
I am so nervous! I don't want to be a horrible supervisor and am worried about how much time/ energy/ brainpower it's going to take.
Do you (or have you) supervised? I know it's a good learning experience... we've had some hellacious (is that a word?!) interns in the past -- if this person isn't horrible, I'm worried he/she will be smarter than I am!
Re: Megan & Katie (and others MSWs)
I'll send you a FB message because I'd like to give you more details that I want to put out here
So true!! Those are my favorite ones. I feel like it's my turn to do it. I interned there and was hired when I graduated and have seen so many intern classes come thru since then (6... wow). Everyone except 2 of our staff members have been interns (and some have been with the hospital for over 20 years). It's a legacy that I need to help continue on.

I have to take a class for being a first year supervisor so I'll get CEUs for that but if not for the class, I don't think I would get anything towards CEUs!
