Valentin Imperial Maya: Mexico
people who have stayed here at this all inclusive resort,
we've read good reviews on it. We have a big group of couples traveling.What's the best price you've seen there? Are there any cheaper times to travel there? (we live the Midwest). So, looking for good airfare & hotel prices.
Any advice.

My husband and I stayed there on our honeymoon in 2010 (October). The weather was great and I think the prices were great too: we paid a little over 3k for both of us, airfare included, for a 10 day stay.
I would say an overall rating of 3 stars...the room was nice and grounds were lovely. I think it's a resort suited for a big group of friends, like you mentioned. The food was decent (if you're not too experimental and like pretty much American food that TASTES American, might be a bit difficult). But the free drinks and swim up bar were fabulous. If you guys like hanging out in the pool, it's awesome. The beach is not the best..lots of shells as you go into the water.
I would say go if the price is right and especially if you're going with a big group.
