May I just b!tch, just for a minute?

I realize, I'm going crazy.  I am aware of the irrationality and b!tchiness of all of the following.

1. I am so sick of lying lawyers who lie.  SERIOUSLY.  I am not stupid and I seem to catch so many people lying to me. I have a jury trial coming up on a case that is TWO YEARS OLD and has been set for trial three times.  The slimeball lawyer called me today and says he never got the police report.  This man will lie in open court, every time i talk to him he lies.  You've set it for jury trial three times and haven't seen the police report?  If that's true, buddy, I'm going to alert your client so he can sue you for malpractice...i'm sure he's been billed for trial prep.

2. Why must people sit or stand so close to me?  I'm ready to bite some heads off.  ALL. THE. TIME.  Seriously.  I was trying to read through some paperwork in court today with an attorney leaning over me the whole time trying to read it.  I said "This is work product, please back off." Another attorney was trying to read over my shoulder and I tossed it on the table and said "Here, if you need to read it go ahead."  Mean, yes.  But seriously, the closeness is unnecessary.

3. DH has this bag vacuum thing a friend bought him.  It buzzes.  He finds this funny.  He's sitting on the couch just making it buzz.  I've asked him nicely to stop.  I've asked him impolitely to stop.  I've threatened to throw it through the tv screen.  He still absently (or on purpose) picks it up and buzzes it.  And now he's watching some stupid ass show about cloning pets on TLC and wont' turn the channel when a perfectly good King of the Hill is on.

 4.  SIL keeps trying to compare her pregnancy announcement to mine.  Yes, I know this happened last month and I should get over it.  But no.  no no no no no.  Don't compare this pregnancy to yours.  This one was planned and I'm not upset about it and my parents aren't upset about it and I'm not moving my sleazy boyfriend into my parents' house because he knocked me up.  more importantly I'm not bragging about "Going on welfare and being proud of it."  I'm actually getting prenatal care in my first semester because I was excited and NOT in denial.  DO NOT compare your situation to mine.

Wow.  Even typing it out I see the ridiculousness.  Its like I'm floating outside of my body watching myself go crazy over stupid things.

But at least King of the Hill's on now.  And DH got me an ice cream sandwich.  He's temporarily redeemed.

  • Re the people standing super close - I would blow my nose and say that you think you might be coming down with the flu.  See if that backs them up.  Close talkers and people encroaching on my personal space drive me nuts.
