London Trip: Which Walking Tours?
I have taken two Context tours in Italy and I loved them both. I'm going to London in April and I'll have enough time to do two tours with them. I've narrowed it down to three. Any advice on which sites would be best to see with a guide?
To simplify the poll, I'm asking which one you would NOT do.
1) "Hidden London": "...focuses on the hidden physical remains of London?s past, rather than the more obvious sites and the space between. London does not proudly display most of its history like Rome or Venice, one needs to seek it out, and this walk will try to find some of the physical reminders of that past, now often off the beaten path."
ETA: Eliminating The British Museum or The Tower of London wouldn't stop me from going to either of those places on my own. I would still have time to do that.

I wouldn't do the Tower as a tour because it's really easy to do on your own; they also offer their own free tours...
Holy moly, I just looked at their prices... 60-70 pounds/person? That must be SOME walk.
I've done walks with London Walks for 8 pounds/person and found them to be great! Plus, they have TONS of options.

I live in London and always suggest London Walks...for ?8 per walk, they are two hours of amazingness! Don't do a tour that costs so much!!! The London Walks tours that I have loved were:
Jack the Ripper, Secret London, The Hidden Pubs of Old London Town, Old Hampstead Village and Old Kensington. I've gone on all these walks, plus a few more, but these are my fav's. I've never gone on a bad walk with them!
I second London Walks. They were great and very budget friendly.
special snowflake: the british museum has a 90 minute highlights tour that is very good and then you can wander at your leisure. i know the tower of london also has their own tour too. i would save the context for something that is more about architecture and/or neighborhood/city history.
we really liked our hampstead heath walk through london walks. it was cheaper than context tours and it was cool to feel like you were in a little village when really you're still in london.
H and I are also big fans of London Walks. Recommend their Inns of Court and the Along the Thames Pub Walk.
WRT to your question-- I'd do the BM on my own. I've done it both ways and prefer going at my own pace (plus since everything's, of course, in English, it's easy to navigate on your own).
