One of my managers sent me a nasty email this morning asking why something hadn't been taken care of. I already talked to her yesterday afternoon at 4 about this, that I was taking care of it and my computer got a virus. I said I would take care of it this morning.
WTF is her problem and why does she have to be all over my case all the time. I am going to get it done, as I am not a slacker. Back off and stop micro managing!
Jeff has. Seriously. I want to scream.
So, as a follow up to my post yesterday, I came in this morning feeling all confident and refreshed and sure of what I wanted to do. I would work from home full time, but come into the office on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for any clients that want face-to-face time with me. The kid would go to daycare those afternoons. She only costs $20/day, no matter if it is two hours or eight. So, that is extremely cheap!
So, I tell this to Jeff, and he basically says, "Well, wait to see if they will give you the manager spot with a salary." WHAT? Okay, so, now I'm literally supposed to sell-out being at home with my baby for more money here. The thought makes me sick. My mom was always the one with a full-time job, and my dad was "stay-at-home"...he hasn't had a full-time job since before I was born. She hated it. Honestly, I feel like he is saying that if I will make so much, then I HAVE to go back. I don't have an option. Again, I like what I do, but a lot of the time is down time. So, I get to sit here and be miserable and not with my kid because of $. Just sick. I am SO pissed off right now!!!!

My WTF is directed to my housekeeper (and sort of at DH). She comes in every two weeks, but not always on the same day - she is supposed to call the day before to let us know she's coming. She called DH on Friday morning after I left for work and said she was down the street and could she come that day, and he said okay.
The problem is, if you leave anything out she will move it to some random place and it's hard to find it, so I always try to put everything away before she comes (jewelry, clothing, mail, shoes etc.). For example, one time I left out a tote bag with a change of clothes in it that was missing for months until I found it in the back of our pantry.
So, I am in the process of organizing my clothes to make room for the baby and I had things out in my bedroom sorted by items to be donated, summer maternity clothes, a pile for the dry cleaners, etc. Plus I did laundry Thursday night that was still sitting out as I hadn't had a chance to put it away. She took ALL of these clothes and put them all together in this giant plastic bag (and, some of these clothes are dirty!). This morning to find the shirt that I wanted to wear today I had to dump out the entire bag and sift through it. So now my room is messier than before she came and I have to spend probably at least an hour or two re-sorting everything and putting it away. And the cats are laying all over the clothes so a lot of it will need to be rewashed.
Plus, when I did my Babies R Us registry a couple weeks ago they gave me a plastic bag with all kinds of coupons and samples in it, and it's disappeared. It was sitting out on the floor of my bedroom and I have a feeling she threw it away.
Of course, had she given us advance notice I would have put all this stuff away. Suffice it to say that there is now a household rule that she will not be coming without calling the day before.
Total first world problem, I know, but it's really annoying.
WTF isn't there the ability to organize your stuff on the amazon registry?!
i just want all of my bibs to be together. is it so hard?! i just emailed them telling them i was taking my registry elsewhere unless they fixed this.
for such a popular website you think you'd be able to move stuff around on a registry! grr!
