Well, I had my review with my bosses. I wasn't given the full-on manager's position (whether or not I come back full time) as they want more of a aggressive sales person. I'm not really upset by that, because it isn't me at all. I am just not the type of person to do that.
I told them that my ideal situation would be to work from home in whatever capacity they could use me, and we left it at that. They completely understand and respect where I am coming from and also don't want to lose me as an employee completely either.
So, I guess we will just go from there. Still kind of where I don't know if I will have a job or not after the baby, but it is what it is...

Sorry that you didn't get more clarity than that, but it sounds like they respect you and understand your needs, so hopefully they will work with you! Good luck!
Totally agree with this. There's nothing more unprofessional IMO than beating around the bush and leaving a good employee hanging. Fingers are crossed that they decide something soon, that will work well with you!
Kinda a blessing in disguise that you didn't get the manager position so you don't have to wage war with Jeff over whether you should take it and not stay home, right?
I would be annoyed not knowing too...and I would follow up in a couple of weeks - they should be able to make a decision by then!
Seriously, I think I would be really, REALLY pissed that I didn't get it if I wasn't pregnant...but....I was SO relieved for exactly that reason! : )
I think Jeff is just really frustrated with where he works, so was kind of looking for an "out" there...I told him that after we have the baby, and he works there for an extra month or whatever, then he can go find a job anywhere he likes (as long as it does have family benefits). I told him that if he even wanted to move to Omaha (or Kansas City...yes, Jeni...I really suggested it because my uncle owns a roofing company there), that I would be on board with whatever he wanted to do. I think he wants to stay where we are (and I pretty much do, too), but I just wanted to let him know that I was behind him no matter what. It was a much better evening than morning/afternoon for our marriage! Hahahah!
