today is going to be great...
They are redoing the floor in the lab area that is right next door to our cube land. doors are open since we need to use the wet lab while they are doing this. So the day sounds lovely with them wripping up laminate tile and have power tools scraping up the tiles. Can barely focus. Just wait till they start relaying tile. That will smell wonderful.
At least I leave around 2:30 today to grab the diaper bag and bring Evie to see if she has yet another ear infection.
I just don't see why they don't pay them extra to do this after working hours. Yep costing them more than paying the 3 guys extra money to do it after 5 than having 21 employees doing blah work all day because of the noise.

That's a bummer.
Last year our entire MRI department was being remodeled. It was a few month long process and it SUCKED. So much noise, distraction, and people everywhere.
I hope they get done quickly...and that Evie feels better.

EVIE'S EARS ARE CLEAR!!!!!
She had an ear infection from halloween through christmas. She has been playing with her ears a lot and fussy. She had an appointment next week to check if they were cleared up, but because of her fussiness I rescheduled for today. It is most likely teething since he said she was all good!
Soooo happy that it is finally cleared up! We went through 4 rounds of antibiotics to clear it (amoxicillian, omnicef, augmenting, zithro). I am sooooo sooo sooo happy it is gone. Hopefully another one does not pop up.
