Morning all!
It's raining here, and that's gross. It's apparently supposed to switch to freezing rain/snow overnight, but then be back well above freezing by mid-next week.
Derek's headed off to Montreal tonight with Tim and 2 other guys for a snowboarding weekend. Saturday the high temperature where they're going to be is supposed to be -24?C (-31?F). Yikes that's cold.
Today I'm off early to go do my gestational diabetes test, then a hair cut!! I'm so over due for a cut and highlights.
How is everyone today?

Happy Snow Day to me! We're off today for a snow storm that will be bringing a nasty mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain...awesome. Ed had to go to work anyway, so hopefully he will get out earlier than later so he can drive home before it gets too bad this afternoon.
My plan for the day is to work out! I was cleared at my appt on Monday but haven't felt well in the evenings, so today I am going to walk some light intervals on the treadmill (I'm still not allowed to run). Other than that, I have some reading to do, a load or two of laundry that could stand to get done, and some DVR to catch up on...yep, exciting day on my part!

I wish I was off for a snow day. I could have slept in this morning. It has been in the 70's here for the past week and a half and today our high is 42 crazy weather.
This afternoon is a fix your own dinner kind of night. Jordan and I went on and read his story for tonight last ngiht since we have a soccer meeting tonight and studied his math stuff. My sister is going to come over and watch P while me and Jordan go to the soccer meeting. It will be nice to actually be able to listen to the meeting rather than run after P and he will get to go to bed his normal time. Dh is working nights starting tonight thru out the weekend and the first of next week. Which means i can finally catch up on MY shows.

I don't know what's going on with the weather here, but I'm not going to complain! We've been having (and forecasting to have) lots of sun, which is unheard of at this time of year here! The temps are supposed to start dropping a bit, but today it's 12 C / 55 F. So nice.
Also, I think my body is messing with me. My temp went back up this morning, which is now giving me [probably false] hope.

We are getting the same storm Blender is getting. It was my first time driving in the snow with my van, and of course I had the boys with me. Thankfully it was just starting to snow when I left this morning, so it wasn't to bad. Downfall, I usually park in our garage here at work when it snows. Well because it was a DC day, I got here at about 7:45, and of course the garage was for the most part full. So, I am now parked outside. I have front row parking, but will have to clean off my van later. Since we're along the coast it should be turning over to rain, hopefully by noon.
Otherwise typical day at work and home. Have a great day ladies.
Hello! Nothing much going on here--just twiddling my thumbs, ready to drop everything once I get the go-ahead on something at work. It's a pretty big deal and I should be more excited, but ... meh, can I go home?
Last night was fine. It rained, blah, but I met up with a friend and we had dinner at a nice Cuban place downtown. Josh joined us after an appointment, so we got to catch up. It was a lot of fun.
I think I might be stuck late at work today, so my plans for the gym might be out the window. That's okay, though--I plan on leaving early tomorrow to start the three-day weekend on a high note.
It's snowing here; our first real snow of the season. It hadn't started when I got out of the shower but by the time I left for work the roads were already bad. My drive home tonight should be fun. We're not supposed to get a ton of snow (4" I think) but we're supposed to have strong winds causing whiteout conditions. No matter how late winter hits it never makes me happy.
I think I'll head to the grocery store before going home so that I won't have to leave my house again this weekend to do it. Tonight we have a birthday party for a friend. I'm not all that excited for it given the weather conditions. Otherwise, I'm just happy that tomorrow is the Friday before a long weekend.
Morning everyone. Things here are hectic as always. I have a deal closing tomorrow, and hopefully, I will be able to enjoy at least part of the long weekend. Casey got dropped back at the hospital today so they can examine his wound and determine if they can close it up for good. Overall, he's doing pretty well, and has adjusted to being home. He's still a bit cranky early in the mornings and late in the day when his pain meds start to wear off. However, it's so great to have him back home.
Amie, I can't believe it's already snowing down by you. It's not supposed to hit us until later in the day. I'll admit to being a bit nervous about it, only because either B or I need to go pick up Casey this afternoon, and people always forget how to drive after the first big snow of the year.

Good luck, raynes. My work BFF failed the 1-hour glucose test Friday, then took the longer test Monday. Results were borderline, so she's changing her diet to keep the GD away until they retest in a month (she's due 3/23). We've been talking a lot lately about food, labels, and eating cleaner. Between her and my friend with Celiac I'm learning more and more about food.
Not much going on here but work and cold temps. We didn't get the snow accumulation they said was coming yesterday, but it's going to be cold for the next few days.

Good Morning! Yesterday was lazy. Dh is still sick, but we ran out to a restaurant we had a gift card to that was expiring. It's one of our favorite places so I was hoping the tuna tartare would make him feel a bit better. After dinner we tucked up on the couch because he wasn't feeling well and watched some Downton Abbey. I think Dh is surprised he likes it so much.
Today I hope to get a work out in. It's been to long. Then some laundry that I have been putting off. At least it's Thursday!

So we had a cold front come it last night and we have some crazy winds this morning. I think the weather is just off everywhere.
Today is my last day working for the university. I gotta admit, I will really miss it. The people I work with have been very nice to me here. Tonight no major plans, I just want to relax and enjoy my last few days of vacation before I start with grad school.
Morning! Running late again today. We really enjoyed the show yesterday afternoon.
The boss is leaving today at 1:00 for the long weekend and this is Restaurant Week, so I have a lunch reservation for tomorrow and dinner for Saturday to look forward to. That's about it. Just trying to hang on and counting down the days until our March trip.

Good morning. I felt like a spent my entire evening yesterday on the phone. First I talked to my younger sister, she totaled her car yesterday but neither her or my nephews were hurt which is good.
Then I talked to my mom forever, it was her 50th birthday yesterday and she was feeling a bit down about it. We're trying to through her a surprise party on Sunday but she's making things rather difficult. She's trying to plan a get together on Sunday as well for everyone to see my youngest sister who is in town from Iowa. I have every person in my family lying to her about their Sunday plans including my 98 year old great-grandmother, LOL!
My office is dead today, most the attorneys are in court or out of town, so I'm looking forward to a pretty relaxed day. Tonight I'm making a big dinner for the boys and making brownie hot fudge sundaes. Mmmm!
I love that E watches Downton Abbey with you. I asked B to watch with me, and he totally gave me the side eye.
I think I need to come to your house. I am starving dieting STINKS!
Last night was yummy moose meat tacos for dinner and cuddling on the couch.
It's invoicing week, so I'm usually busy holding these guys hands to get things out the door.

Good morning ladies. I went to Target to pick up a few things and walked out with too much stuff and spent over $100. DH was not happy even though most of what I bought was on clearance and was stuff we needed. We watched a bit of tv and went to bed fairly early. Olivia woke up a few times as soon as we went to bed but she fell asleep quickly and then STTN.
Today should be fairly low key. My offered to make enough of tonight's dinner for DH and I so that I don't have to cook so that's a plus. I'm hoping for some downtime to read and do some light cleaning. Have a good day ladies.
Come on over and we'll split one, only half the calories that way! I really shouldn't be eating one either, my fat pants are almost to small. I really need to get my butt back on the treadmill and start eating better.
Good morning ladies! Good luck with the test raynes. The one hour isn't bad but I failed mine (by like 3 points) and had to do the 3 hour. That one sucks, luckily I passed!
Today is probably just an at home day. We might venture out to Barnes and noble to grab a book or something. Other than that, nothing too exciting. She has her 2 week checkup tomorrow, I can't believe it's already been 2 weeks!

DH got up with Jackson last night for his random feedings, so I slept through the night. It was amazing. Tomorrow I have my first annual appointment since the baby, so it should be interesting. I always hate seeing the gyno. Plus, it's the woman I had that was late in diagnosing my pre-e. Not much she could've done in her defense.
I thought about taking the whole day off tomorrow, but I realized I have to be home Monday since daycare is closed, even though our office is still open. Yay for having at least a floater and not using even more vacation time.
This should be a good weekend. I'm still anxiously awaiting my call from the job interview I had before the holidays. It's annoying, since we have a ton of stuff at work that I'd really love to not be here for.
