A nephew update...
I just heard from my brother and the preliminary blood tests they've ran today are looking good. I, of course, said, "So no leukemia". He said he didn't want to come out and say that but that they are feeling a lot better.
Nephew will have a bone marrow and bone sample taken out on Friday for further testing.
I am really hoping and praying that the Dr just jumped the gun on even diagnosing the poor little dude.

Great preliminary news!
I'm sure he will be. They do have to use a fairly large needle to do the extraction, and they are chipping off part of one of his bones. I don't know where they take samples from in little ones.
Cautiously optimistic!
Hoping the prelim thought was totally wrong and that he's really just fine. Still sending up thoughts and prayers.
Holy cow, we're going to have a little sister!!
