My mom is getting a baby goat
She's going to have to bottle feed it. She's so stinkin excited. It's cute (her, I haven't seen the goat yet...)

That's cute! Did she just want one, or was it an issue of the goat was found and needed someone to care for it?
PIP when you can, I'd love to see it!
Matt's partner knows someone who has goats, and the mom abandoned this one, I think. Just to be clear, my mom said she would protect this goat with her life, and we would not be eating it. I don't think she knew they were gonna cook the last one either, and she was MAD.
I will pip as soon as I get there to see it. My mom doesn't know how to upload pictures from her camera, so she takes them, and gives me the memory card to upload them.
LOL
A friend of mine grew up in a household that had a lot of animals, including several goats. He talked about having to de-goat his car before driving to school in the morning.

BFF had goats and they sucked. You couldn't go into the animal pen without be charged.
They also had ducks that raped the female ducks to death.
And one rooster that would draw blood.
And a mini horse that walked like it's back knees were fused together.
Then she had babies and found new farms for all the animals, except the chickens. They ate the mean rooster.
omg
Um...this.
Eh. In the long run, it was just a goat. Not really a "pet" by this point, because it was aggressive. We also ate the chickens out in the chicken yard, and the cows behind the house in the pasture.
Awww! Don't tell MH though, he's DYING to get a goat (He thinks it will help him keep the grass short...lol) But I keep refusing him saying we have enough pets, 1 German Shephard, 2 cats & 4 turtles.

It will, indeed, help with the grass. I think I would be leery with the shepherd though. Matt's mom has 2, and I think they might "play" too rough for a baby goat.
