And other baby animals...
I think that humans are the only mammals for which I think the babies are NOT cuter than the adults. I realize I'm in the minority in this (well, perhaps not on here, but in general). Most baby mammals are adorable, but human babies...they're weird looking.
Re: Speaking of baby goats
I had this same thought when I looked at the baby otter pic!
I completely agree.
I think that's why I usually hide all new mombies on my FB because all I can do is roll my eyes when people put comments like "How adorable" when the thing is still squishy, sticky and red looking.

Totally agree!
We got a birth announcement w/ picture in the mail and the H just said, "yep, looks like a regular baby" . We were both laughing about how hideous they always look for the first month or two.
Ha..funny story. My SO, his mom and I were in the car with his 2 year old nephew. His mom was driving his sister's car and she had a cheap steering wheel cover. His mom was smelling her hands, my SO asked what she was doing and she responded "This cover smell like dog *ss." Then in the back seat we hear the 2 year old go "Dog *ss! Dog *ss."
