I just wanted to thank you again for the info on diets for kidney failure in dogs. Two months ago, the vets gave me and my parents' dog 2 days to live. Unfortunately, they have to put her down today, but I do think that the info you gave me helped her live longer. My dad said that she was wimpering in pain all last night, so it's the right thing to do. She's 14 1/2. Doesn't make it any easier, though. But anyways, I got to see her twice more during those two months! So, thank you again.

:::HUGS::: to you and your parents. Kidney failure hits very close to home for me and I am sad that your parents had to put her down. I am happy that she lived longer than originally expected, though. 2 more months! That's awesome.
You are SO very welcome on the information.
Once I found out that Sadie (14 years old) was diagnosed with kidney failure, I changed her diet around and even though the vet said her number would never get better, they improved by 200%! Diet is so incredibly important and many conventional vets are providing their patients with incorrect information, so I am glad that I was able to share it with you.
