O to the MG... Looked up Air Emirates today
Because they are now flying out of Seattle. $30,000.00 for two people first class to Dubai!!!! Insane! The coach rate is ~$1000.00pp. Crap, no first class for me!

Not quite. But you do have your own shower, there's a spa, open bar, and all sorts of other ridiculous stuff.

that coach ticket is reeeeallly not that bad- at all. one thousand, right? not twenty thousand? we always pay between 800-1200 for our asia-flights, and dubai is a bit further!!
as for the first class ticket. wowza. i've worked in various sectors of aerospace and i *do* know the middle east airlines go all out for first class, now i know how they pay for it!!
