Yup, name is easy.
And the ultrasound tech printed a picture with an arrow that said it, so DH opened it for his dad and they "read" it together. There were a lot of tears. FIL said "good job" to DH and squeezed his hand. MIL lost it.
How wonderful! What an amazing moment for Ryan and his dad to share.
Sounds like a perfect moment for your family Cassidy, how very special! That moment will be so special for DH for the rest of his life. Congratulations on your little boy!
aww, sniff. that's such an awesome story. I don't think Ryan will regret finding out early and what a neat story to be able to tell your......SON
Congratulations! I am always wrong, lol.
What a special moment for your DH, MIL and FIL to share with you.
See, now... you didn't miss out on anything by sacrificing your Team Green dreams. That moment lives up to any "It's a..." announcement in a delivery room. Gave me chills.
AND as soon as you said that the ultrasound tech drew an arrow pointing, I knew it was a boy. I know there is something to see when it's a girl, too (the "three lines" or whatever), but the arrow pointing, in my mind, was a tell-tale sign that it was pointing to a peen.
CONGRATULATIONS!

Boys are awesome! (see siggy)
Yay, congrats! The story gave me chills, I agree that Ryan won't regret one bit of finding out what team you are on. A beautiful memory with his parents, for sure.
My thoughts exactly- I don't think either of you will ever regret it. Think of all the happiness you brought to him and MIL in his final days. Darn it- you made me cry.
I'm so happy for you! Boys are just amazing, so much fun! I hope you two are able to enjoy the news amidst your sadness!

I'm so glad DH and FIL had this moment to share together. It won't make up for FIL not meeting the baby, but he and DH have to know they shared something special.
Congrats!!!!!
