Recommend your digital camera?
Nothing too large and bulky or crazy expensive. I need something for the TX GTG and I'm calling time of death for my old one.
I already have a super fancy schmancy film camera that I love, so I just need a simple but good digital one. Thanks!

I have an Olympus point and shoot that is several years old now, but I really love it. It also does videos and such.
We got one of the only digitals they had available that takes 2 regular AA batteries (we use the lithium kind) which I prefer over the re-chargeable batteries. I always have a spare set in my case and I am never without a working camera, since I can just pop in fresh batteries when they run out. Those kind are getting harder and harder to find, but I find they are more convenient especially on trips when you are taking photos all day/night and use it excessively.

I think there's a newer version in that line (it would be an HX#V), and they've all been good. I love the panarama photo option, and it takes great video, too.
I have an older Olympus that I never use anymore but still have it - it's awesome.
I got a new Cannon powershot last year for Christmas and I love it.

Haha! I didn't click on your link until after I posted mine. We have the same camera (the Canon).
I completely agree Erin!! That was a requirement for my point & shoot. We get the AA batteries that are meant for electronics and they last forever. And the best part is that if they die you just pop into Walgreen's and you're back in business!
Otter - we have a Canon Powershot something or other that's a few years old but I really like it.
