Detroit Nesties
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Step by Step instructions on how to PIP

Here you go Emarston  Big Smile

1. Go to tinypic.com

2. Browse for your picture.

3. At the Resize option, select "Website/Email (320x240)"

4. Click "Upload Now". You'll have to look at one of those security code things to prevent spammers, so just simply enter the phrase or whatever they want on the screen.

5. When "Share This Image" comes up, you'll now have all sorts of codes for different forms of websites. I always select the second option entitled "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards".

6. Just copy that code and you're ready to paste! You can paste it right into the text box on the Nest.  Nothing special needed.

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml

Thanks Ritzy!  The bolded part was where I was going wrong.  I kept trying to input the code using the tree icon and nothing was happening.

So in order to thank you, here's my old car (RIP Oompa Loompa).  And yes it really was that green

And here's my new car.  Not yet named

  • 1) Love the name Oompa Loompa

    2) But I love car #2 more. Congrats on the new car!

    3) Nice job PIP Wink

  • Yay!! So glad it worked for you.  I used to think you had to use the tree icon too, so don't feel bad.

I love the new car!! You're definitely stylin' now! Smile

  • I love the new car!  Congratulations!!!

I actually use the tree icon, you just have to copy and paste the last code on the list (it ends in .jpg).  But I like your way better Ritzy!
