My number is pretty low - only 24.
Among the more common things that I haven't actually tried: barbecue ribs, biscuits and gravy, dulce de leche, fish tacos, root beer float, or s'mores (unless it counts without the marshmallow).

Im at 40 as well! That's not too bad (though not as adventurous as I'd like).
My favorite is Hostess Fruit Pie... can't be just any fruit pie! Has to be a Hostess Fruit Pie! And WTF happened to cheesecake? If you're going to have Key lime Pie, you have to have cheesecake!

I don't think it's supposed to necessarily be *weird* foods, but more like.. if you cam across a 50yr old who said they'd never had funnel cake, you'd probably give them WTF-face.

I didn't know people ate kangaroo. I could never do that without thinking about Kanga and Roo from Winnie the Pooh and then I would feel bad and not eat it.
One of the places we're staying has a weekly BBQ with "kangaroo, crocodile, emu and fish". This seemed to be pretty common in a lot of the places we were looking at. So I figure, we're there, we might as well at least try it.
