Petty XH vent

A week ago N drew a fairly elaborate (by 4 year old standards) picture of him and his cousin Luka (X's sister's 17 year old son whom N idolizes) and even wrote him a letter on the back (with my help).  He very wants to mail it to him.  I've emailed X four times now asking for the address. I know he's gotten it because I got an email back after the first one saying he'd send it when he got home.  I immediately sent him a reminder so he wouldn't forget because I know him.  I got nothing.  I sent two more.  Nothing and nothing.   It's been a week.  I also sent him a text message which was also ignored.      N is going to have a total meltdown if I don't send this.  How freaking hard is it to take 2 minutes off from pretending you're a famous movie producer to send an address so that your son can mail something that he worked very hard on and is very proud of to someone he loves?!?

Re: Petty XH vent

  • He's such a tool. You're a saint for dealing with him as nicely as you do. Poor N. Hope his Dad can get it together soon.

  • ugh, how irritating!  Have you tried using reverse lookup or the online white pages to get their address? It sounds so creepy and stalker-esque when I type it out, but sometimes I use that when I lose addresses for Christmas cards. lol

Good idea!  Thanks.  I had to pay 95c to view it but I was able to find it.

  • Send him a screenplay treatment about a little boy who eventually grows up to forsake his idiot father who couldn't be bothered to answer one simple email directly correlated to said boy's childhood wish. I would do an intentionally poor job of changing names to protect the innocent.
