Vintage/Antique Champagne Flutes
I'm looking for vintage or antique champagne flutes as a gift for a friend. Any thoughts a local store where I could look? I'd be open to online, too, but would love to be able to see them in person and find out a little bit about their history.
Re: Vintage/Antique Champagne Flutes
I think I would try the antique "malls" and stores along S. Broadway... I know that isn't a huge help - but I remember seeing flutes while wandering around in those stores a few years ago - I just couldn't name one in particular.
PS, Oliver is adorable, hope all is well, let's have a glass of vino and catch up soon!

RubyLane.com is always a fun site to visit for vintage stuff.

Dang. I'm guessing you don't want to spend anywhere near $500. These vintage Cartier glasses seem perfect - except for price!

Thanks for all the great suggestions.
K - lets definitely go for a glass of vino. I'll e-mail you
Carrot - how I wish I had $500 to spend....those Cartier glass are gorgeous! Alas...not in my price range, but I'll check out the website for other options.
I'd try La Cache. I've never been in, but I drive by everyday and they have tons of glass ware.
Plus it benefits Children's Hospital.

Growing Up Olson
There is a place on Broadway, somewhere between Bayaud and 1st, on the east side that has a lot of really nice mid-century glassware (as well as mid-century furniture). I think it was near Decade.
La Cache is also very good!
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
