Vampire Diaries 1/12 spoilers
What do we think of Klaus and Caroline? I had heard they were giving Klaus a love interest but wasn't expecting her. I like it, so long as he isn't using her. Only time will tell.
I actually liked Matt this episode! He is okay in small doses.
I don't trust Meredith at all. I think they are trying to make it look like Alaric killed that guy, but I think it was her.
I love badass Stefan, but Elena needs to move on. I want Katherine to come back and be with Stefan, and Elena and Damon can move on together.
I loved the birthday party/funeral. It was nice to see the gang hanging out as friends.
Why is Klaus so freaking charming? I love his character. His speech to Caroline at the end was really touching.

I love Stefan. Always have and always will.
It was nice to see a soft side to Klaus.
I still want Tyler and Caroline together. They gave us so much angst for so long and when they finally get together, this happens?! Really?
Why is Bonnie ALWAYS so damn self-righteous?

I liked the Klaus / Caroline scene. And I want to believe he can care about someone (because maybe it would make him more interesting). But! he allegedly cares about his sister / sibs and stakes them at the least provocation.
And if Caroline can't be with Tyler because he can't put her first and Klaus controls him, how can she be with Klaus, who is basically evil who ordered her to be bitten in the first place? I also would like her to be with Tyler after all they've been through. I was OK with with them being temporarily parted, but I can't accept Klaus as the rebound.
Nanny Carrie strikes again! In the books, the Fell girl is a witch and she's bad news. This show does NOT follow the books at all, but I'm sure Dr. Fell is a baddie.
I love angsty Alaric, he's extra hot. I wish he didn't always get the bad end of the stick.
I also loved that at the beginning of the ep, Damon rips a hybrid's heart out and at the end he's a total gentleman with Elena. It was hilarious that he was all smug and she was beating up a punching bag. Classic Damon. I get why Elena is going to need more time. Stefan was IT for her and now that's over. She needs to cope and it's good that Damon won't force her.
I actually liked Klaus this episode, which is new for me. I'm not sure about him and Caroline, but they had good chemistry there at the end. Poor Caroline can't ever get it right, she deserves to be treated well, but I don't think Klaus is going to be that guy. It looked like her dad is coming back to beat the shiz out of Tyler next week. That will be interesting.
Im going to be totally honest, they could kill Stefan off and I wouldn't care. He does nothing for me. I'm reay going to miss Jeremy though. I hope he's not gone long.
Gah I know... I want to hate him but I can't. The whole him and Caroline thing is interesting but I don't think I like it. Although I never was a fan of Tyler so I'm not too upset about that.
Agree w everything already said (and UGH, Nanny Carrie again! She sure makes her way through the CW/ABCFam circles). Do we think Klaus ordered Tyler to bite her just so he could save her and have her for himself, but he would be the saviour and not the bad guy who bit her in the first place?
Badass Stefan is hot. Almost thought he would have a bit of humanity on that bridge, and then he just drove away and left her ass there. I keep thinking of that scene from the lakehouse, on the dock, and if I were Elena, I'd have a hard time letting him go too. I feel like ultimately, in the end, they will be together (though I've never read the books). I'm sure we will see Katherine again sometime this season.

I don't know why, but I love Klaus...I was almost hoping he'd start being interested in Elena, just to throw another wrench in that love plot.
I'm still a little on the fence if he's genuinely interested in Caroline, or if it's just another part of his plan to get his family back. Either way, I definitely think he ordered Tyler to bite her so that he could be the savior, but I'm just not sure of his motive behind it yet...
Dr. Fell is going to be an interesting story line...and I'm sure it's interesting for her and Paul Wesley to be working together, but with different love interests. LOL.
