The Devil Inside (Now With Spoilers!)
I love love love LOVE exorcism movies. For some reason they don't scare me like a normal jump-out-at-you horror movies (which make me pee my pants). Maybe because I find them more interesting than scary. Anywho, we're going to see The Devil Inside today. Anyone else seen it? Did you like it?

I have not seen it, but all I have heard is bad things. Like theaters worth of people demanding their money back kinda bad. I know why, but ... I'm going to semi-spoil it below so if you *really* don't want to know, stop reading now.

It has no ending. The movie is going along and then the screen just goes black with a "see this website for more info" tag. And apparently going to the website doesn't really resolve anything either, it's just a crappy site with clickable "stories". No resolution to the film at all.

I've seen it!! I LOVE scary movies! I thought it was just ok. The best parts of the movie are shown in the preview. It's filmed in a documentary style (which means it's that shaky camera effect at times) which I wasn't expecting. Honestly, I thought the movie was going to be much better. It tried to push the limits, but failed in a BAD way (I can think of 2 scenes that in my opinion were just inappropriate).
What the other poster said is true, several people walked out during the movie. I'm the person who likes to see things for my own, so I'd probably still go see it at the theater, but if you can, wait for it to come out on dvd.
I was fully prepared to say it was a good movie. Horrible acting, would have been better if it hadn't been done Blair Witch style, but I thought the exorcism parts were great.
But, yeah, that ending. Such a failure. I wish they could spoil that for you as you're buying the tickets. It completely ruins the whole experience no matter what you thought before. We walked by the attendant that was cleaning the theatre and he said 'Man, I really hate cleaning up after this movie by myself because of all the angry people.' It was funny.
Can someone spoil it some more for me? Does it end in the middle of the exorcism?
I love horror movies. But I can't do exorcism movies because for some reason they freak me out more than other movies haha
