Thanks soooo much ladies. The experience wasn't fun, but the growth has been removed and I'm  not in too much pain. Hoping this extra strength tylenol will kick in very soon or else I may cave and fill the percocet prescription. My midwife said it was okay for a couple of days and i was surprised. I'm going to see how it goes.

You guys are the best support team ever!  I can't wait for my tongue to be normal again!!!

    So glad it's over and I hope it doesn't get too painful, but the tongue has a lot of nerve endings I'm guessing.

    Glad it's done!  My m/w said narcotics are actually pretty safe in PG bc they've been studied for a long time since it's all that was available for a while.  Hope you don't need it, but don't worry if you do!

    I'm so glad it went well! I figured I was too late for the juju, but I'm glad it wasn't too bad and I hope it heals quickly!

    I happy it went well.  I missed your OP. 

    I had to take narcotics a few times during PG for migraines (shot of morphine, shot of dilaudid and I had  a scrip for Vicodin that I never needed).  Apparently they are much safer than my migraine meds.  If you need the pain relief I would definitely fill your scrip.  I hope you feel better very soon!

    Glad to hear! Yeah, it's crazy what's safe while PG. I was on several days of morphine, then lots of Vicodin and all was well. They say that the meds are safer for the baby than all the stress hormones/chemicals from the pain, so don't try to be a hero! You can also look up drugs on www.infantrisk.com or call their hotline for the best info available (both PG and breastfeeding). Really helpful and straight from the expert!
